Earlier, I went to a meeting at Ortigas. By the way, since bawal na ang single sa EDSA, I decided to commute- Bus + MRT.

On my way home, I decided to pass by Trinoma to have lunch. While searching for a place to eat, I noticed that there is an event going at the Trinoma Activity Center. There is an Appliance Expo happening sponsored by Anson’s Home Appliance Store.

Then I remember, over the weekends, we are planning to buy Air Fryer so I search it immediately. Lucky enough, I was able to locate the model we are eyeing. Buti na lang hindi pa nakakabili.  I will make a separate post on this.

From original price of PHP 18995, it was down to PHP 15196 (offers on 3-6 months installment) but I got the same unit for only PHP14750 using straight payment but an another PHP300 will be slashed when you pay in cash. Huge discount, right?

Teaching Kids the Responsibility with QUBO

A few months ago Mommy received a package from Friso. Aside from the product, another box was included in the package - a QUBO kit.

The kit contains a paper pouch of fertilized soil, a small pouch of stone grits, a mini glass bottle of organic fertilizer, a tiny glass bottle containing the Genovese Basil seeds, and a small pot made of coconut husk.

I told our Matthew gwapito to do the planting and it will be his task to take care of it as the plant grows.

With this, it is not only teaching him to do the proper way of planting but also let him know the word RESPONSIBILITY.

Let Matthew teach you how to plant using QUBO kit with this short video.

Once there are already four leaves appeared, put about 2-3 pieces of organic fertilizer once a month. 

After two months, here is the Genovese Basil.

After 2 months, here is the #GenoveseBasil from @qubo.ph Planning to transfer these on a larger pot.

Unboxing Samsung A6+ Smartphone

Mommy and I had an upgrade on our gadget. She had the Samsung A6+ while I got Asus Zenfone 5Q which I will also post it here soon.

For the Samsung A6+, the package contains the usual Smartphone, charger with cable and headset.

Now going for the external features, the Samsung A6+ is made of an all metal body with a 6.0-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display. Navigation buttons are removed in front making it look more sleek, stylish and smooth finish.

The power or lock button is placed on the upper right side while the volume buttons are located on the left side.

Below the volume buttons, two separate slots are provided. The first slot is for the Primary SIM and the other slot is for the secondary SIM and the microSD tray. these slots can be open with the pin provided.

I just observed the top side of Samsung A6+ is free of any inputs of speaker. The 3.0-mm jack inlet is located at the bottom beside the charging or data cable slot. Another is the phone speaker is located neither top or bottom side but on the right side just above the power button.

The Samsung A6+ is equipped with dual 16MP + 5MP rear and a single 24MP front cameras. The front camera has features of taking Single and Wide selfie, Sound and Shot, Selfie Focus, Beautification,  and Bixby Vision modes.

On the other hand, the dual rear camera has an Auto, Pro, Panorama, Continuous Shot, Night, Sport, Sound and Shot, Live Focus, Beautification, and Bixby Vision.

To provide enough and controlled lighting for taking photos, a LED flash is equipped in the unit. This can be also used as flashlight.

Right below the rear camera is a rectangular fingerprint sensor.

With a huge capacity battery pack, the 3500mAh can stand the device up to 11 hours while up to 18 hours in airplane mode.
